The Historic Oakleigh House: Notable Portraits

The Historic Mobile Preservation Society (HMPS) has an impressive collection of notable portraits at the Oakleigh house. The society's goal is to share the stories behind these portraits with visitors, but currently, only a few of them are featured on regular tours. By sharing the stories of these favorite pieces, they hope to give visitors an engaging and educational experience, and a deeper understanding and appreciation of the collection.
